STEP ONE-THE HOME SEARCH
1. Schedule meeting with your lender.
- Bring last two pay stubs, tax return, investment statements, bank statement:
- Establish a price range
- Establish a down payment
- Establish a time-frame for purchase
- Discuss best type of loan for your situation
- Establish an estimate of fees and payment
2. Meet with us and establish your home selection criteria
- Size of home/# of bedrooms & bathrooms
- Area/Location/Neighborhood
3. Search homes on the internet and review listings sent by us. This is a process of elimination.
4. Visit Sunday Open Houses (just a sampling of what is available) Take our business card to give to agents at the open house.
5. Schedule time with us to tour homes.
STEP TWO -WRITE THE OFFER
1. Write an offer on a home that best fits your needs.
2. Discuss Earnest money and Down Payment for offer.
3. Check calendar and discuss closing dates and what that means.
4. Schedule the home inspection as soon as offer accepted.
